With their always smooth, never bitter promise, it's no surprise that Cameron's Coffee has earned a devoted, don't-talk-to-me-before-my-Cam's kind of following.

But to connect with Gen Z, you can't always lean on sunny lovability. You have to stop the scroll.

TikTok's algorithm doesn't reward polish: it rewards volume, variety, and a willingness to be a little weird. So, we decided to try something new. We kicked off a new TikTok content strategy to identify audience cohorts — from black coffee haters to reality show fans — and see what actually made them watch.

Turns out our target demo takes their coffee with a splash of milk, silliness, and absurdity.

The most successful brands on TikTok didn’t get there by just pushing their beloved RTBs again and again — they led with real entertainment. We experimented with a variety of approaches to make our audience pause, engage, and perhaps giggle.
